Tuesday at the movies with Palazzo Strozzi!

A retrospective of films linked to The Springtime of the Renaissance and An Idea of Beauty on exhibitions. Films will be shown at the Cinema Odeon, Piazza Strozzi, admission free. The movies selected for this edition develop around two main topics: rediscovering the ancient times and reinventing the idea of beauty. These themes often appeared in the history of cinema, inspiring the most important authors and redefining the standards of the seventh art. From Rossellini to Kubrick, from Sam Mendes to Lars Von Trier, including the latest discoveries of digital cinema, this retrospective leads the audience to a fascinating adventure through images, sounds and visions.
