Ernestine Fabbri
Genova 1863-Firenze 1941
Egisto's elder sister, she was close to him throughout her life. She too studied in New York with Julian Alden Weir and then in Paris, frequenting American and international art circles and painting with Pissarro in the French countryside. She supported Egisto in his enthusiasm for Cézanne and then in his decision to sell the master's work. She was an excellent photographer, as we can see from the photographs on display.
