What do you see today from the same place?  Artist's View let's you discover Florence through the eyes of seven artists shown in the exhibition "Americans in Florence. Sargent and the American Impressionists" at Palazzo Strozzi March 3 - July 15, 2012.
Every painting is a witness to the history of the place it was painted - a history which Artist's View reveals.
Once you have found the exact point at which the artist painted the work, Artist's View superimposes the work over the live image taken by the iPad's internal camera, which allows the viewer to see what still remains, what has been changed and what has disappeared forever.
