Off the Scale

Activity for families with children aged 7 to 12

Saturday afternoon from 15.00 to 17.00
From 21 October

Small, large or positively gigantic! The size of the objects we use every day is functional to their standard use… but what happens if we transform them, changing their size and the materials they’re made of?

The exhibition Radical Utopias (20 October 2017-21 January 2018) on Radical Architecture hosted in Palazzo Strozzi’s Strozzina prompts us to reflect on reality, on the objects all around us and on the possibility of rethinking them in new and astonishing ways. A tour of the exhibition and the observation of some of the objects of design on display provide the cue for a creative workshop in which each family can re-invent and transform objects into creative works of art using a host of different materials.

The cost of the activity is included in the price of admission to the exhibition.
Activity in Italian only.
