Every Sunday starting from 3 April, from 10:30 to 12:30
Sunday 29 May, from 10:30 to 12:30 and from 15:30 to 17.30
We will be exploring the works of art in the exhibition on Kandinsky to Pollock. The Art of the Guggenheim Collections and observing the colours, shapes and gestures used by the artists in producing their works. This reflection on their various different forms of expression provides the starting point for experimentation and personal revisitation. In the workshop, each participant will use water to transform the colours: dripping, spraying and splashing will breathe life into works that will go to form a fully-fledged “family collection”.
The use of water resources will be crucial in the workshop and the message on responsible consumption will be conveyed through the modalities of use, which will highlight saving the resource.
The activity is devised for children and parents to take part in together. First we inspect some of the masterpieces on display in the exhibition rooms, sharing our observations and opinions, and then we move over to the workshop where our creative activity completes the experience in a practical vein.
Reservations required. Places are limited.
There is no charge for taking part, but a ticket to the exhibition is required.
