Joint ticket to the Grande Museo del Duomo and Palazzo Strozzi

Palazzo Strozzi’s Divine Beauty exhibition, the new Opera del Duomo Museum and the Baptistry of San Giovanni could all be visited with a special joint ticket starting 1 November 2015 until 24 January 2016.

This unique joint venture allowed to explore Florence from the Middle Ages to the present day, probing the interplay between art and the sacred through masterpieces spanning the entire era from Michelangelo’s Bandini Pietà to Van Gogh’s Pietà, from Luca della Robbia’s Choir Loft to Millet’s Angelus, and from Donatello’s Penitent Magdalen to Guttuso’s Crucifixion.

Concessions €6.00 (schools, FAI, children aged 6 to 11)
children up to 5 years of age, disabled visitors and their carers, group leaders (min. 10 people), teachers with their classes, professional journalists (ID must be shown), ICOM-ICOMOS members, Firenzecard holders.

The challenge facing the Fondazione from the outset has been to bring international quality exhibition and cultural events to Florence and Tuscany.

On the palazzo’s Piano Nobile and in the Strozzina area the Fondazione organises art exhibitions ranging from the art of the ancient world via the Renaissance to the modern and contemporary era.
