At the movies with Palazzo Strozzi

On the occasion of the exhibition Dawn of a Nation, Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi proposes a cycle dedicated to great authors of the history of Italian cinema such as Luchino Visconti, Elio Petri, Michelangelo Antonioni and Pierpaolo Pasolini, who through their films and their gaze have been able to tell, contradictions and visions of Italy between the fifties and sixties.

All screenings are held at the Odeon Cinema (Florence, Piazza Strozzi / via degli Anselmi).
Free admission while seats are available.

The challenge facing the Fondazione from the outset has been to bring international quality exhibition and cultural events to Florence and Tuscany.

On the palazzo’s Piano Nobile and in the Strozzina area the Fondazione organises art exhibitions ranging from the art of the ancient world via the Renaissance to the modern and contemporary era.
