Palazzo Strozzi at the Oblate and in Municipal Florence’s Libraries

Palazzo Strozzi organises exhibition presentations and family workshops in conjunction with the Biblioteca delle Oblate and other libraries in the city. To mark The Cinquecento in Florence the libraries will be hosting conferences exploring the exhibition in greater depth and a cycle of activities for families with children aged 5 to 10 entitled Take Part in Art, urging children to discover the different techniques and languages of contemporary art.

Admission to all events is free of charge while places last.

The challenge facing the Fondazione from the outset has been to bring international quality exhibition and cultural events to Florence and Tuscany.

On the palazzo’s Piano Nobile and in the Strozzina area the Fondazione organises art exhibitions ranging from the art of the ancient world via the Renaissance to the modern and contemporary era.
