Open Space is a welcoming area designed for families visiting the Fra Angelico exhibition.
Every Saturday afternoon, from 3.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m., the rooms of the Maria Manetti Shrem Educational Center open up to offer a place to stop before or after your visit, with a big carpet of cushions and simple activities for anyone who wants to take a break.
Beato Angelico’s works are full of details to discover: figures moving through intricate architectures, plants and flowers painted with great care, and beautifully crafted fabrics. Taking inspiration from these elements, in Open Space you can touch different materials, build small structures, leaf through a large herbarium to explore plants and flowers, or enjoy a picture book.
Designed for children aged 0–6, Open Space welcomes visitors of all ages to rest, relax, and play.
No booking is needed to access Open Space.
