Becoming an Amico di Palazzo Strozzi means taking part in all our initiatives in a truly exclusive way, with unlimited admission to exhibitions, dedicated events and activities, complimentary gifts, discounts in our bookshop and bistro, and free or discounted admission to Italy’s leading cultural institutions.
Palazzo Strozzi offers four different kinds of membership, each with its own specific programme of exclusive benefits, valid for 365 days from the day the card is activated. Choose the membership programme best suited to your needs and join the community of Amici di Palazzo Strozzi.
Amico di Palazzo Strozzi membership cards are strictly personal and non-transferable.

You can buy or give Amico di Palazzo Strozzi membership either directly at the Palazzo Strozzi ticket office or online on our website.
If you buy membership online or receive it as a gift, the Amico card must always be activated at the Palazzo Strozzi ticket office within six months of the purchase date.
Give membership to whoever you like: at the ticket office you will receive a special envelope and folder so you can present your gift in a truly unique way.
When the card is activated at the ticket office you will be given the exclusive Palazzo Strozzi shopper featuring a new illustration created especially for the Palazzo Strozzi membership programme by illustrator Virginia Di Giorgio, known as Virgola.
Membership is valid for 365 days from the activation date. Once the twelve‑month period has expired, you can renew your card by purchasing a new membership either online or at the Palazzo Strozzi ticket office.

You can purchase a membership card as a gift either online or directly at the Palazzo Strozzi ticket office.
Ticket office purchase: You will immediately receive the gift voucher, presented in a special envelope and voucher holder, perfect for an elegant gift presentation.
Online purchase: When purchasing online, you will be asked for the purchaser’s details, but you can enter the name and surname of the person you wish to give it to. If you want it to be a surprise, make sure you enter your own email address, so the gift voucher will be sent to you and you can then choose whether to:
– Forward it to the recipient by email
– Print it and deliver it in person
– Print it and stop by the ticket office to collect the envelope and voucher holder, so you can present it in the best possible way
Activation of the membership card: The person receiving the voucher must go to the ticket office within six months of the purchase date to activate the card, register their personal details and collect their welcome gift.
No, with the Amico di Palazzo Strozzi membership card there is no need to book your access date or time online. The card acts as your entry ticket: you can go directly to the exhibition entrance and show it to staff for scanning.

Vouchers purchased online must be activated at the ticket office within six months of the purchase date. When you activate your voucher, you will receive your physical membership card and can start enjoying all your exclusive benefits.
