Guided tours

Palazzo Strozzi offers guided tours led by specially trained staff members. Guided tours are available for groups of up to 20 participants plus the guide.​

Advance booking is always required for guided tours, both for individual visitors and for groups.​

Guided tours for individual visitors

Weekly guided tours with guaranteed departure are offered on a regular basis:
every Monday at 18.00;
every Sunday at 15.00.

The guided tour is free of charge with the advance purchase of the ticket to the exhibition and includes the use of a radio head-set system. Places are limited and booking is compulsory by calling or sending an e-mail to the booking office.

Guided tours for groups

Palazzo Strozzi offers guided tour services led by specially trained staff. Tours are available for groups of up to 20 people plus the guide.​

For groups of 5 or more, the use of an audio system with earphones is compulsory: groups may use their own system or request one at the time of booking. The date and time slot of entry must be booked in advance by contacting the booking office.
To guarantee the guided tour, the service must be requested at least 5 working days in advance. On request, tours can also be conducted in various foreign languages.

The cost of the tour is €100 for groups of up to 20 people and does not include the admission ticket.
The admission ticket for groups costs € 12 plus a € 1 advance booking fee per person.
The reduced price, valid for groups of at least 5 people, cannot be combined with other discounts.

The compulsory whisper system with earphones for guided tours is included in the price.

Groups with their own guide

The date and time slot of entry must be booked in advance. Tickets must be purchased in advance, after checking the availability of the chosen date and time slot, by phoning or sending an e-mail to the booking office.​

Whisper systems with earphones must be used for every group of more than 5 people (plus guide): groups may use their own system or request one when booking.
The cost of the whisper system for groups is € 15.

Guided tours for schools and universities

For every exhibition, special tours and workshops are offered to schools, universities and academies, allowing students to experience the exhibition as a space for personal experimentation and shared learning.
