Visit Kit – Rothko in Florence
from 14 March 2026
to 23 August 2026
- Available for free at the ticket office and online
The Visit Kit is a guide designed for “teenagers of all ages” to explore Rothko in Florence and engage with the work of the great American artist. It is co-designed with students from the Liceo Artistico Statale di Porta Romana (Florence) and Sesto Fiorentino.
The Visit Kit takes the form of a small illustrated booklet and accompanies visitors through the exhibition with insights, observations and suggestions, presented in clear and direct language. Its pages include information on the artist’s biography, the story behind the works on display and prompts to reflect on the role art can play in our lives. Conceived for art lovers, curious visitors and anyone wishing to explore the exhibition independently, the Visit Kit encourages readers to build a personal relationship with the works, without needing to be art experts.
The Teenager Visit Kit is available free of charge:
– in printed form, to be collected at the Palazzo Strozzi ticket office (no booking required);
– in digital format, downloadable from the website (available soon).
