Art Break Dawn of a Nation

From 11 April 2018

To 15 July 2018

  • Wednesday
13.30-14.30

Every Wednesday from 13.30 to 14.00, starting 11 April.
A special lunchbreak inside the Dawn of a Nation exhibition.

Every Wednesday Palazzo Strozzi proposes an in-depth exploration of one of the great masters whose work is on display in the exhibition in the course of special lunchtime break devoted to art: a 30-minute break to discover an artist and the Italian art from the 1950s to the late ’60s under the guidance of Florence University’s art history students.

After the break, visitors can continue to visit the exhibition under their own steam. All participants will receive a voucher entitling them to a free cup of coffee at Palazzo Strozzi’s bar.

There is no charge for the activity but a ticket to the exhibition must be purchased.
Reservations not required.
Special 2 for 1 Coop:
Two tickets for the price of one (€12.00) for all Coop members that will take part to the activity.

This project, produced in conjunction with Florence University’s SAGAS (Dipartimento di Storia, Archeologia, Geografia, Arte e Spettacolo), is part of a programme of activities developed to encourage university students to build up their formative experience through the exhibitions held in Palazzo Strozzi.
