Guided tours – Natalia Goncharova

From 28 September to 12 January 2020 Palazzo Strozzi celebrates Natalia Goncharova, a leading female artist of the 20th century, in a major retrospective. The exhibition will explore her unconventional life and career, presenting her rich and multifaceted artistic output with masterpieces from major international collections by celebrated artists including Gauguin, Matisse, Picasso, Balla and Boccioni.

The tour of the exhibition is designed to encourage participation by asking questions and sharing ideas within the group. The discussion between the museum educator and the students lays the groundwork for a critical experience in the course of which personal skills are enhanced and the ability to analyse and interpret the works of art on display is encouraged.

Specific pathways can be devised for teachers interested in addressing specific works of art on display or specific themes addressed in the exhibition.
The tours are available in English, French, German and Spanish.
