Boulder, cocciopesto and horse head Workshop for families with children aged 3 to 6

From 06 April 2022

To 27 July 2022

  • Wednesday
17.00-18.00

Donatello experimented enormously in his work, using such different materials as terracotta, bronze, marble and even papier mâché, which he carved or modelled in a broad variety of shapes and sizes.

The works on display in the exhibition are the start of a journey of discovery involving both narrative and sensory events. We begin by observing the larger sculptures and complete our activity with a creative workshop where participants can handle materials and create their own original, three-dimensional works of art.

The activity includes a tour of the exhibition focusing on a selection of works and winds up in a workshop. It is designed to involve grown-ups and children together, thus the exhibition becomes an opportunity for the whole family to experience art “hands on”!

Tours comply with government regulations currently in force to contain the spread of  COVID-19.

Activity in Italian only.
Reservations are required. Places are limited.
The activities are free of charge; the cost is included in the price of admission to the exhibition.
