Connections – Tracey Emin. Sex and Solitude

Thursday 27 March 2025

10.30-12.30

Connections is the programme that Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi dedicates to the accessibility of people with intellectual disabilities, psychic distress and other types of fragility. The project is aimed at organised groups belonging to day centres, associations, residential facilities and territorial services.

In each activity the works of art are the centre from which free connections and sensory experiences are developed that enhance different types of communication. The activities of Connections take place in the Maria Manetti Shrem Educational Center and in the exhibition rooms.

The exhibition Tracey Emin. Sex and Solitude presents sensitive content such as the representation of sexuality and the body combined with themes such as loneliness, pain, abortion and death.
Therefore, it is planned a presentation meeting to visit the exhibition and consider the possibility of a group visit. The meeting is dedicated to social and health workers (educators, psychologists and therapists) working in contexts related to disability and fragile conditions.

Activities will be activated on request.

Presentation Meeting

The presentation meeting will be held at Palazzo Strozzi on Thursday 27 March from 10.30 a.m. to 12 noon and reservations are required.

It is necessary to attend this meeting to join the project.
