The NFT phenomenon is recent, it experienced a major acceleration during the pandemic and it has not yet expressed its full potential, but in the same way as the market instantly responded to it, so the world’s most prestigious museums are also starting to show an interest in this new world. The Let’s Get Digital! exhibition and catalogue set out to forge a link between the physical and the digital, between the history of contemporary art and the ultra-contemporary art of the web 3.0. The aim of both the exhibition and the publication is to address a topical issue and to familiarise the public with some of the most important examples of this new world; the works on display represent a worldwide experience and an extremely dynamic movement that we should address without any preconceptions.

The exhibition Let’s Get Digital!, promoted and organised by the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi and the Fondazione Hillary Merkus Recordati, is part of the Palazzo Strozzi Future Art programme. Supporters: Fondazione CR Firenze, Comune di Firenze, Regione Toscana, Camera di Commercio di Firenze, Intesa Sanpaolo, Palazzo Strozzi Partners’ Committee.
