From 11 to 15 November 2026, on the occasion of the Lo schermo dell’arte festival, the Strozzina spaces present Scénarios et les cinq cahiers de Scénario de Jean-Luc Godard, an exhibition dedicated to the final works of one of the most influential figures in the history of cinema.
Organised by Lo schermo dell’arte in collaboration with Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi, the exhibition brings together for the first time in Italy the final works of the celebrated French filmmaker: five precious notebooks containing drawings and collages, and two short films: Scénarios, completed the day before his death, and Exposé du film annonce du film “Scénario”, offering an insight into the creative practice of the great master during his final years, at the intersection of cinema and visual art.
Conceived as part of the project for his final film, the five notebooks bring together images, photographs, drawings, texts and revisions, documenting an artistic exploration in constant evolution. Together with the two short films, presented at the Cannes Film Festival in 2024, they reveal the vision of a filmmaker who continued, until the very end, to question and reinvent the possibilities of cinematic language.
