The Family Kit is a tool that Palazzo Strozzi has devised for kids (aged 5 and over) and grownups to allow them to share art in a fun and creative way. For the Olafur Eliasson: Nel tuo tempo exhibition the Kit is a brochure with activities that you can do in front of the exhibits and then carry on at home, with additional information and suggestions to help you discover the life and work of this important contemporary artist.
The Kit contains suggestions for a tour of the exhibition rooms with light, shadows and reflections that turn Palazzo Strozzi’s windows, ceilings and walls into a new and astonishing environment. For Olafur Eliasson, each artwork is an opportunity to take a new look at the world around us, and the Kit offers you the chance to penetrate the artist’s thinking and to explore the way he works.
With the Kit you can: observe, invent, learn and create so that you can share art with the whole family.
The Family Kit has been devised for families touring the exhibition under their own steam to use in Palazzo Strozzi’s exhibition rooms and is available free of charge:
– the hardcopy version can be picked up at the Palazzo Strozzi ticket office
– the digital version can be downloaded at home
