Speak loud / Parla forte – Donatello Learn Italian through art

Art exhibitions are a place for interacting with the history of the past, exploring the present in depth and enjoying a captivating aesthetic experience, but they can also be a stimulating environment for learning or improving your Italian.

Speak Loud / Parla Forte is a scheme designed for people studying Italian who want to make full use of an art exhibition setting to express themselves absolutely freely, to learn new words and to put what they have learnt in the classroom into practice in the environment of a Palazzo Strozzi exhibition.

The visit includes an introductory meeting devoted to genning up on the words that are then going to be used during the tour of the exhibition.

The scheme is tailored to cater for each group’s specific language level, and on booking a tour each teacher will receive the material required to prepare the activity in the exhibition.

Cost and duration

The activity costs € 52.
Admission is free for accompanying teachers.

The activity lasts 90 minutes.
Max number of participants per group: 10.

The activity takes place on Wednesdays, between 10.00 and 15.00 depending on time slot availability on the day chosen.

The cost of the activity does not include either the price of admission (€ 5 per person) or the advance booking fee (€ 1 per person). The wireless whisper system, which is compulsory for all guided tours, is included in the price of the tour.
