Family Kit – Broken

The Family Kit is the tool that Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi has devised for families (suitable for ages 5 and up). It is designed to explore the rooms of the exhibition Broken. The Power of the Fragment and experience art together in a fun and creative way.

The Kit offers families a journey through the exhibition rooms, inviting them to discover artworks and archaeological finds from all over the world, covering different eras and cultures. Through fun facts, insights, and activities, families can observe what remains of lost sculptures, imagine the missing parts, learn about the stories behind the discoveries and transformations of fragments, and reflect on what still remains a mystery.

With the Kit, you can look, invent, and learn, sharing art with the whole family and discovering that fragments are much more than simply the broken pieces of a lost whole.

The Family Kit is designed to be used independently by families in the rooms of Palazzo Strozzi and is available free of charge:
– the hardcopy version can be picked up at the Palazzo Strozzi ticket office;
– the digital version can be downloaded at home.
