Free Flowing consists of a cycle of encounters to relate to works of art through the spoken word, movement and dance, in conjunction with Dance Well – Movement and Research for Parkinson’s.
The activities are open to everyone and are designed to promote the inclusion of people suffering from Parkinson’s disease. The scheme first got off the ground in the autumn of 2018 as a result of interaction with the experiences of the Centro Parkinson di Villa Marghertia (Kos Care) in Vicenza and of the city of Bassano del Grappa. Following an experimental phase, the scheme has now become a regular feature on the programme of events that Palazzo Strozzi organises to tie in with each of its exhibitions. The activities are held in the exhibition rooms and in the Maria Manetti Shrem Educational Center.
